The birth of baby Pebbles Flintstone was an anxiously awaited TV event (my mom remembers that I did not want to leave home when Pebbles' birth neared; fearing I might miss it!). We could all "oooh" and "ahhh" over the cute little Stone Age baby, complete with a bone hair clip and spotted dresses. And of course let's not forget Pebbles' sidekick, the mighty Bamm- Bamm.

I missed it when it first aired (we got lousy ABC reception back in the sixties).
But, decades later, I remember watching the episodes leading up "Blessed
Event" with anticipation because I wanted to record it on my VCR (which I did). I wasn't disappointed. It was one of the funniest episodes ever (even if
they did borrow a little bit from I Love Lucy). My favorite scene was
when the cop stopped Fred for speeding, and he had in his haste accidentally
put Dino in the car instead of Wilma! (LOL)

It would have been way cool to see the birth of Pebbles when it first aired back in 1963.
