I don't understand it. No one in my market airs the show in reruns and I wouldn't mind seeing the early seasons again (I'm just a casual fan, not willing to buy DVDs however).

That's a very good question. If I am not mistaken, FOX owns the rights in syndication as well. Only FOX owned stations air the show in reruns, like Fox 5 in NYC. I do believe the show would benefit from airing on other cable outlets like 'Family Guy' has.

Maybe there's a Monopoly on "The Simpsons", that's why they've been on for too damn much?:confused:

Why can't FX Show "The Simpsons"?

In my market, the synd. reruns air on the CW affiliate at 5:00 PM, but the episodes that are airing right now are from around early 2004 (not sure if this makes you feel any better, though).

Maybe you guys can help me with this. Now this is from I believe Wikipedia, so take it for what its worth. I saw on there that The Simpsons are supposed to be airing on FX. I dont think it said a date but I did see that. Does anyone else know if they will be airing on FX anytime soon?

Now going to Wikipedia now and I believe The Simpsons have been edited off as far as being on FX. Was there ever any truth that they were going to be on FX? I wonder why they cant be on FX?
