Here are a few cases that could fit into UM's schedule if the producers decide to make new episodes:

1) The Doodler - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Doodler

2) The Oakland County Child Killer - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oakland_County_Child_Killer

3) The "Connecticut River Valley Killer" - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Connecticut_River_Valley_Killer

4) Frankford Slasher - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frankford_Slasher

Actually, UM already did a segment on the Connecticut River Valley Killer; the segment first aired in 1990.

I stand corrected.
I hadn't seen it in the recent rotation and I guess I forgot about it.

The doodler is very interesting. Never heard of it, but OMG that is scary that the killer is still out there.

When I was 8, I barely escaped an abductor right in the middle of the Oakland County Child Killings. He tried to get me from a parking lot about a mile and half from the OCCK's known area of abductions. I've spent about 10 years searching for info on the internet to see if I got away from the OCCK, or if it was just another predator working the same area.

I don't have definite answers, but the guy who was most likely involved in the crime against me moved to wyoming or montana and died in a car accident in 1981. Previously, the perp had lived in or near Madison Heights, MI.

I've considered trying to get the court records from the trial (I has to testify against this freak, and although he was allowed to hear me state my name and address in open court, he did not have to divulge any private information to me about himself.) I want to know his name for certain for my own peace of mind.

In the course of looking for these records, others involved in the case have stated that the county where the case was tried was notorious for losing the documents.

I second the Frankford Slasher.

- Robert Spurlock; I've mentioned him before on other threads. Disappeared less than two miles from where I used to live.

- Althea Blankinship and Esther Gesler, thought to have been victims of the same man in Washington state.

- Kyle Clinkscales. He was briefly mentioned in the segment we commonly refer to as "Robert Stack Profiles 10 Missing Persons", but I'd love to see a more in-depth look at his fascinating case.

The Disappearance of Brian Shaffer. He was a medical student at Ohio State University and disappeared without a trace from a bar just outside of campus called the "Ugly Tuna Saloona". He left that night and literally vanished into thin air.

In similar threads, I have been vocal about my belief that the disappearance of Virginia Douglas would have been an appropriate case to be featured on UM. This is due to the suspicious circumstances surrounding her disappearance. Virginia Douglas was a resident of Lexington, Massachusetts, who went missing on September 2, 1988. Her husband Frank claimed that she disappeared while at a shopping center in Belfast, Maine, but the authorities were skeptical.

There is a huge, gigantic, long thread on this topic here (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?t=231935).

TracyLynn, I had no idea! That is extremely frightening. The whole experience must have been very traumatic. I'm so sorry. I hope that you find the answers you are looking for. I have heard there have been some promising suspects in the OCCKs, but I haven't kept up with the latest on the case. Please let us know what you find out...
