With an indoor or rooftop antenna? Not through cable. I'm using an amplified $10 antenna that I bought at Big Lots and presently I can get 35 channels including Antenna TV and 2 feeds of This TV. The others range from networks to 24 hour rock and country music video channels.

Yes they will, you can watch directv or over the air channels simply by switching to the correct input on your tv or dvr. for example, my antenna is connected to the input of my dvr using the coaxial cable, directv is connected into line 1 using the s-video and audio cables, Sky Angel is connected into line 2 using the same method.

We can't get anything with an antenna, the distance and terrain is against us. We spent a great deal of money to find out nothing worked. We were told if we put a 300 foot tower we could pick up some channels but that is not even affordable!
I would LOVE to be able to get Sky Angel but we have 2 options for internet, dial up or wireless. When I spoke to someone about Sky Angel they said wireless won't work.
CommonTater, I have a similar problem: I bought my Sharp Aquos HDTV two years ago. I was very excited to have TV again after a two-year "fast." I bought a $50 roof antenna and was dismayed to find that I could only receive a handful of digital/HD channels: the Fox affiliate, the CBS affiliate, (sometimes) the ABC affiliate and a low-powered station featuring the crazy ravings of a lunatic named Harold Camping. So I got cable.
My uncle lives several miles away atop a big hill, and he's able to receive stations as far away as Sacramento and San Francisco.
22, all of my local ones. I just use a cheap antenna as well.

I don't know how many channels I'll get but I'm going to find out because I'm going to buy an antenna soon.I don't know how good a station like Antenna-TV is going to be,but it's a station I'd like to have and I don't want to have to rely on whether the cable company is going to carry it or not.
