"The Defenders" Adds Recurring Repo Man
Dec 17, 2010
by William Keck
With no disrespect to Jerry O'Connell and Jim Belushi, CBS's "The Defenders" has just taken a significantly sexier turn with the addition of Latin star Kuno Becker in a new recurring role.
Kuno, 32, will appear on the Vegas-set series as a Cuban bad boy named Alex Velasco, who is too smart for his own good. Having previously worked as an undercover DEA agent, Alex is now stuck working as a repo man.
His street sense, edge and ability to break into places make him a great asset to the firm. This is the first recurring American TV role for Kuno, who has mainly worked in his native Mexico.
He starts shooting this week and his episodes will start appearing in early 2011.
