View Full Version : Larry King Ends His Talk Show Tonight...Anybody Watching? Does Anybody Care? Brian Damage 12-16-2010, 09:44 AM After years & years on the air, Larry King is calling it quits. Will you watch? http://www.christiangallery.com/king.larry.jpg Rezny@gmail.com 12-16-2010, 01:57 PM He was good and at least halfway interesting as well as entertaining years ago-MANY years ago,but in the past years his show has become sort of a "lawyerathon"(he's had lawyers, and those in the legal field on a LOT).I guess he'll be missed by some, but not me.I'm not going to watch, and I really don't care. AKA 12-16-2010, 03:46 PM I'll be recording it. I have this theory that the real Larry King died about 12 years ago, and was replaced by a sound-alike lizard! catlover79 12-16-2010, 03:58 PM No - don't have cable, so I won't be watching. I don't think I'd watch even if I DID have cable!! HuntingtonM15 12-16-2010, 04:04 PM Simply put: no and no. Poor Larry hasn't given a coherent interview in years. LUNCH 12-16-2010, 04:16 PM Larry King used to have a good show, and I used to watch it.I have not viewed his show for a few years now .CNN are the ones to blame, because Larry used to have alot of good guests and it was a good talk show.CNN turned his show into a joke. They basically turned it into another show featuring 'media created' zero talent celebrities, too many politicians etc. and all the other low life types that have no business being on television.Plus the last time I took a quick glance at his show ,they were showing commercials every 5 minutes or so..Even though Larry may have slowed down a bit,I don't blame him for the shows steep decline. Dr. Thong 12-16-2010, 09:26 PM I think it's long overdue. Larry has pretty much become the butt of comedians' jokes with impressions of him that don't cast him in the most flattering light. When Paul and Ringo were promoting The Beatles' Love show with Cirque De Soleil, Larry went to ask Ringo a question. He referred to him as "George." Yeah, stick a fork in Larry....he's done. 70s show watcher 12-17-2010, 06:05 AM he was great in his prime but he has been off his game for at least 10 years now no i did not watch MickeyMac 12-17-2010, 01:06 PM Larry King has never been a good interviewer in my opinion. He never did his homework on his guest. When he had Brian Wilson one, it was obvious King knew nothing about Wilson or the Beach Boys. I wont miss him. cocytus 12-17-2010, 01:33 PM I'm sure that Larry King will miss his show as it's how he financed his wife changes. But not too many other people will, as his rating have shown. |
