"Growing Pains" is one of my favorite '80s sitcoms ever and I'm very happy to finally see Season 2 getting released. Hopefully, the other 5 seasons will quickly follow. And I'll definitely show you that smile again.:)

This past April we let you know that Warner Home Video was planning to bring Growing Pains - The Complete 2nd Season to DVD - at last! - in 2011. Today the studio formally announced the title, giving it a street date of April 26th. The 3-disc set running 572 minutes will cost just $29.98 SRP. Congratulations...you're fired. Mike (Kirk Cameron) receives a car from his pleased parents after he's named Employee of the Month. (So how's he going to tell them he's been canned?) Mike's not the only one with secrets. Brainy Carol (Tracey Gold) wants everyone to think she has a romantic extracurricular life with a hunky football hero. And what's up with 10-year-old Ben (Jeremy Miller) and those 67 calls to a sex line? (No, it's not what you might think.) These events don't all happen at the same time, but they do all happen at the same place: the Season 2 home-sweet-ho-ho-home of the Seavers - dad Jason (Alan Thicke), mom Maggie (Joanna Kerns), and three on-the-go kids. Jason works as a psychiatrist. You think maybe it's time to add some family appointments to his calendar?

This show was great back in the days but i have to say like Family Ties and etc very outdated.I noticed 80 sit coms don't stack up to the 60 comedy only a few.

That's great news!! I was starting to doubt it would ever get released. I hope most or all of them get released eventually. I love Growing Pains!!!!

Great news! I will definitely be buying it. I wish they would release them faster than they are, it's been a long time since season 1 was released.

Oh my god finally??? I thought it was never going to happen. The release of further seasons will be determined by the sales of season 2. I hope it sells...:)

This is the big one! My favorite season of ANY show. And I never doubted this day would come.

For the last few years, I decided not to watch any season 2 until the DVD came out, so it would be fresh.

....... and uncut!!!
