Please use caution if you have a trade in progress with Jeff Howse. I sent him 18 hours worth of tapes and waited over three months for him to send mine which was suppose to have been a gift for my four year old nephew. On the day he claims to have sent them, even if he sent them book rate, they should have been here. I've had tapes come from Brazil and England come faster than when he said he sent them. So he didn't actually rip me off, but instead a four year old . The tapes were cartoons and were to be given to him as a gift. So Jeff, how does it feel to ripoff a four year old ? You must be proud !!

Lance:

I'm sorry to hear about this. I hope it wasn't supposed to be a Christmas present. I'm so sorry to hear that he ripped you and your nephew off. :(

Hi Jenny, Yes, it was suppose to have been a present and when it didn't come on the 24th (He said he sent it the 15th and, get this, lives only 15 miles from me ) I had to hurry down to the store to get my nephew something and had under five minutes to get it before the store closed. So that part worked out .

That is horrible. I'm glad you could get your nephew something, but still its horrible that you can't depend on people anymore. I think that's why the world is just going down the drain... :(

I have a suggestion. If more and more people keep ripping you (or, in this case, your nephew) off, make a new policy that states that you MUST get their tape before you send yours. If people think it's unfair, tell them that you realize that it may not seem fair, but you have been gypped too many times to agree to anything otherwise.
Again, this is just a suggestion. I hope nobody rips you off again. I won't trade with that less-than-honest individual who can't keep up his side of the bargain.

Sorry to hear about this. Thanks for cautioning me.

Hi timmy087, One thing I learned is no matter how bad you want it, do not pay for tapes. If you don't have anything they want, offer to trade for blank tapes. There are alot of other tape groups where you could probably find what you are looking for without having to pay a single penny. Besides, these people who sell in these groups, it makes you wonder why they don't sell on e bay. Also, you might want to tell this person if they don't send your tapes or money, you will file a complaint with the Post Office for mail fraud . P.S. Do you have copies of your e mail transaction with this individual ? Also, it's a possibility they committed wire fraud as well .

Sorry that happened to you timmy. I would take Lance's advice and try and get them for mail fraud. Also, what would be even better is if you dealt with money orders or checks. That way the proof is even more on your side.
