THEY JUST WON'T GIVE IT A CHANCE!!!!

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The news is about to get worse for FOX's "Running Wilde."

In addition to last night's installment being dropped in favor of a repeat, FOX has also pulled upcoming originals on December 19, December 26 and December 28.

Repeats of "The Simpsons" and "The Cleveland Show" will sub in for the series on December 19 and December 26, respectively, while an extra hour of "Glee" will fill the Tuesday, 9:00/8:00c hour on December 28.

In addition, encores of the series will wrap in the Saturday, midnight/11:00c slot on January 1. The network had previously planned to keep repeats of the series in the time period (a la "Brothers" last season).

It's not clear what will fill said half-hour come January 8. (Repeats of "The Good Guys" are still a go on Saturdays at 11:00/10:00c, as previously reported.)

As for the five remaining original episodes of "Running Wilde," network sources insist they'll turn up at a later date.

FOX gave the show a chance. They should just say its cancelled and air the last five online.

In other news, Tiger Woods had sex with a bunch of cocktail waitresses!

I love Arrested Development, Will Arnett, David Cross and Mitch Hurwitz, but this show just didn't work. Glad to see it being taken out of its misery.

FYI... i didn't kno if u saw it's last raitnings on tuesday.. but it was up substantially from previous weeks... and i was proud of it. they should have left it just burn off and not screw around w/ it and take it off so soon....

It was a good jump, but a 1.7 demo is still awful. I still say let fans see it, but air it online.

I'm not saying it's record breaking... but you do have to at least say it's a good jump from where it was previous weeks ago. I just personally think that they should have just left the burn-off schedule how it was and be done with it at the end of the year. just my personal opinion.

i like the show - I really had no interest in watching it from the promos and I don't really like either Will Arnett or Keri Russell, but the show kinda grew on me and I watch every episode multiple times.

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- Just days after pulling its remaining original episodes from its lineup, FOX has reversed course as five new installments will turn up over the course of the next two weeks.

It all begins this Sunday (December 19) at 7:00/6:00c with back-to-back episodes ("Jack's Back," "One Forward Step") followed by another Sunday broadcast on December 26 at 9:30/8:30c ("Alienated"). The series then wraps its freshman run on Tuesday, December 28 at 9:00/8:00c with another dose of back-to-back episodes ("Pre-Nup," "Basket Cases").

Repeats of "The Simpsons," "The Cleveland Show" and "Glee" had previously been set to fill the aforementioned slots, respectively.

In addition, the show's encores in the Saturday, midnight/11:00c half-hour are back on, through at least early February.

Such potential.

I'm one of the countless Arrested Development fans who hoped this show might fill a tiny bit of the void left by AD's early departure. As much as I wanted to love this show, I agree that it just didn't work.
