Scott Checks In To "Castle"

How's this for a nice New Year's treat?
"Y&R" star Melody Thomas Scott will appear on ABC's "Castle" in a guest role on Mon., Jan. 3. Scott, who has been doing stellar work as Nikki Newman on "Y&R", is going to be in an episode called 'Nikki Heat.'
Coincidence? Perhaps not.
In the show, Scott's character is Tonya Wellington, a rich lady who hired the services of a famous matchmaker. When the matchmaker turns up murdered, Tonya is considered a prime suspect.
