Who cares about them....when I get MeTV and Antenna TV, they'll be irrelevant to me (and probably a lot of other classic TV fans)....

The Merrythons from 2001-2005 were the best. Since then, they've been absolute garbage and don't deserve to run.

Thank You, another reason it should be seen in primetime and not at 3am.

The encore Merrython on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day doesn't look TOO bad, what with the 3 "Bewitched"Christmas-themed episodes,(the one black and white, the others color),"The Jeffersons","All in the Family","Good Times",(there should have been more than one made by CBS)"Sanford and Son"(there should have been 2 made by NBC,not just one),but as for the others:I don't remember 2 Christmas-themed "The Andy Griffith Show",and, since the others shows in the Merrython are probably repeats of the Dec.11 Merrython, there should have been the Christmas-themed episodes of "The Dick Van Dyke Show","Green Acres","The Addams Family","The Mary Tyler Moore Show","That Girl",and "The Beverly Hillbillies"

I meant there should have been more than one Christmas episode of "Good Times",with James,Florida,J.J.,Thelma and Michael celebrating Christmas, and more than one "Sanford and Son"Christmas episode done earlier in the series' run, when Fred was nice, and son Lamont was Scrooge-like.

Years ago TV Land was the BEST. We don't even bother watching anymore because of the stupid Reality shows and lack of real classic shows. The few shows they do air that we might like to watch are chopped up so we don't bother.

I am SO jealous and would love to get MeTV and Antenna TV, no hope for us to get either. We must have a Dish because there is no cable out here and no matter what we do we can't pick up with an antenna. The only way would be to install a 300 ft. tower which we couldn't afford.

I agree,TVLand is a joke and just riding on the prestige they had when they 'used' to be a very good tv station.

I still don't know if we'll be able to get ME-TV and/or Antenna TV,I may have to get an antenna. However it also should be REQUIRED that every cable/sat company carry these 2 stations for people like CommonTater who would not be able to view these stations without a satellite. There are so many commercial filled copycat stations carried on cable etc.(which should be dropped) ,yet hardly any classic tv stations.

As a viewer who likes the earlier seasons of Three's Company (love the Ropers more than Mr. Furley, despite how great I think Don Knotts is) and MASH (love Henry, Trapper, and Frank more than their replacements, and like the humor more when Larry Gelbart and Laurence Marks were more directly involved in writing the episodes), I have long noticed that TV Land's programming tends to favor the later seasons of these shows and had concluded that whoever controls the programming at TV Land must be biased in favor of the later seasons of these shows. It always seems like when MASH wraps back to the early years, its airtime is reduced, and the same with Three's Company.

Up until last week, TV Land was airing one hour of Three's Company and TWO hours of MASH late at night. Three's Company had moved into the Mr. Furley episodes and last week MASH wrapped back to the beginning, so I jokingly said to myself that it must be time for TV Land to expand Three's Company to two hours and reduce MASH to one hour. I thought I was just being paranoid, but lo and behold, it really actually happened this week! Three's Company has been expanded to two hours and MASH has been reduced to one hour. Plus, TV Land found a way to reduce the Sunday evening MASH block by airing a Hot in Cleveland special. They always seem to trot out the specials on Sunday evenings when MASH is in the early seasons.

Also, I don't understand why Sanford and Son and Bonanza get such huge blocks of airtime. I guess it's cheaper for TV Land to run one show for three or four hours than to have to pay for a few more classic shows that could run in some of those slots. This channel has really gone downhill.

Hallmark Channel didn't expand and contract the MASH airtime exactly when MASH was in the later and earlier seasons, respectively. They did change the airtimes a lot but the changes didn't seem to coincide with the switches between Henry/Trapper/Frank and Potter/BJ/Charles. It didn't seem like whoever controls programming at Hallmark was changing the programming just to suit their own personal preferences of some seasons over others.

I used to think it was my imagination that TV Land was biased against certain seasons of these shows, but I'm not so sure it is just my imagination anymore. I don't think whoever controls TV Land's programming should be allowed to have their personal biases to affect programming at the viewers' expense, but it sure looks like they really do.
