Biggest Loser trainer Jillian Michaels says she is leaving the reality competition series.


"Season 11 of Biggest Loser will be my last :) have to finish out my contract," the 36-year-old tweeted earlier this week.

Michaels, who worked on the series for about six years and last summer launched Losing It with Jillian, says she's looking forward to moving on.

"I want to take a year off TV and focus on becoming a mommy and doing more charity work," she wrote. "Shooting Losing It also had big impact on me. Living with kids, I saw firsthand what I was missing."

Michaels added that her replacement has already been hired and that she's going to show her the ropes in Season 11, which kicks off in January.

They should just bring back Kim Lyons as Jillian's replacement, who is very qualified...

My mom and I have watched the biggest loser from the beginning and this season when I heard that Jillian Michaels was going to leave I was upset because I really do love Jillian. Then when I heard this was the reason this was was why they brought the two "unknowns" later to be revealed as Bret and Cara I thought it was stupid. However, I respect Jillian's decision I am sure it was a difficult one to make after spending so many years doing a fullfiling job like that and plus developing a close friendship with Bob...it was probably hard to say goodbye to him as well. Though I heard that she wants to have a family, but unfortunately she have a child biologically because she has some sort of disorder to where it wouldn't be healthy for her to be pregnant so she is going to adopt a child in Africa...this was at least what I read as to the reason why she left.
