Another “Hot in Cleveland” reunion is in the works between two former co-stars. Valerie Bertinelli will team up with her “One Day At A Time” TV mom, Bonnie Franklin, this season as well. She’ll play the mother of Valerie’s boyfriend.

Though they have remained friendly over the years, this is the first time they have worked together in 26 years.

“I turned into a 15-year-old all over again,” Valerie told me. “She’s like my second mom, even though she’s not old enough really to be my mother — she’s only like 15 years older than me — but yeah, I always want to make Bonnie proud.”

Valerie has also asked to have her other “One Day At A Time” co-stars, Pat Harrington and Mackenzie Phillips, on at some point as well. Though it’s unlikely that will happen this season.

I'm excited about Bonnie Franklin coming back on TV for a guest shot. It took some getting used to her at first when One Day At A Time came on but afterwards I enjoyed her acting. Actually I had a crush on her especially when she cut her hair short. She did not have that plain Jane look that she did in the first 2 seasons. In the third season they made her look better and her hair was more styled. The Dorothy Hamil cut in the fourth season was the bomb for her.

If Valerie wants to work with Pat and Mack again, fine. But after seeing that clip of Glenn Scarpelli trying to sing and be a teen idol, keep him away from the set!! For God's sake!
