of course; hence my use of the more ambiguous "cartoons", instead of the less ambiguous "animated series", in the thread title... although, the cartoons you mentioned could also technically be considered part/s of an animated series...

I want to add two more favourites to my list, to make it a Top 5:

4) She-Ra: Princess of Power (He-Man's twin sister)
5) Smurfs

Just missing out are The Dukes and Rambo and the Forces of Freedom (so not politically correct... I love the '80s lol)

For the record, I consider the race for all-time Favorate Cartoon Series to be a DEAD HEAT between Hot Wheels and Skyhawks, which is why both are listed. :D

Only recently was I able to see a handful of episodes from both of these Series. Talk about a "Blast from the Past!" :happyface

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Ducktales
Sonic the Hedgehog

Not really sure about the second and third choice. But I think so. All these three were awesome shows. TMNT was the best for sure, and had an epic theme song. The cartoons back in the days were soo cool, and the theme songs were epic. Then I've also always liked Disney's earlier cartoons, Looney Toons and Hannah Barbera cartoons. Super heroes, humour, adventure and action!

Until my daughter got Netflix for her Wii, I had forgotten about Angry Beavers OMG! Anyone else love the episode that was a goof on 1950's B horror movies, "The Day the World Got Really Screwed Up"? Peter Graves was both the narrator and the Army general. We watched that the other night for the first time in years and laughed soooo hard!

Bugs Bunny

Rocky & Bullwinkle gets honorable mention. To be fair, Adventure Time with Finn and Jake is also on the bubble. I'm a single man with no kids, and have no excuse to explain any of this away. :D

No way I can get it down to top 3. I love tons of cartoons.......okay- a few top favorites-

Hanna Barbera cartoons
Warner Bros. cartoons
Disney cartoons

(and Filmation cartoons, Ruby Spears cartoons, Rankin-Bass cartoons, DIC cartoons, etc. etc. etc.):)

(I will also clarify that my top favorites are most all cartoons from the '20s (ex. Felix The Cat) to 1980s- with the selections getting a lot more select in the 1990s and 2000s and 2010s. (There are some more modern cartoons I like- but those are mainly Marvel and DC superhero cartoons- and some Spongebob Squarepants and The Fairly Oddparents and Phineas and Ferb- though even those get a little disgusting at times.)

I saw Mr. Magoo today. He was on Antenna TV early! Around 6-ish. The hubby and I woke up early and couldn't get back to sleep and we got a kick out of seeing Mr. Magoo! He's such a funny little guy!
