Although the character Rose Nylund acted like a scatterbrained ditz at times,THIS is one of my favorite lines:And Betty White pulled it off very convincingly:To the guy who was cheating on Dorothy with Blanche,leading to very hard feelings between Dorothy and Blanche(but they make up at the end),she says,sultry-like"I'm like my father's tractor.I start out slow,but once I get going.....".Proves what a great actress Betty White is.Anyway,what are YOUR favorite Rose lines?

In the 6th Season episode "Sister of the Bride" when she goes up to accept the award for the dead woman and says, "She's dead...she doesn't need that on her mantle...SHE'S ON HER MANTLE!". I loved the turn Betty did in that one line.

My absolute favorite Rose line is, after Dorothy says that you have to live one day at a time, "Of course you do. If you lived two days at a time, you'd be constantly changing your underwear".

I also love when Sophia says to Rose outside of her bedroom door "wait for the beep", and Rose begins to make a message in the style of an answering machine.

I have a lot of favorite Rose quotes from the show.

I love the herring circus one.
I love the Step and Fetchik one.
I love the Adolph Hitler and Eva Braun. Rose was taking a history class in college to get her GED and Dorothy was the teacher. Dorothy gave Rose an F because she got the answer "Who was the leader of the third reich?" wrong. She said Fritz Stickelmeyer but it was in actuality really Adolf Hitler. Eva Braun was the principal. It was hilarious.:lol:

When Rose gave Blanche a blouse at Christmas and said: "Dorothy said to buy something crotchless!"

Any and every time she says "Ookey Dokey!! I don't know why but it tickles me!! :)

Blanche: I'm going into my room and never coming out again!!
Rose: Oh, is it the weekend already?

The dialogue was something to that effect. Correct me if I'm wrong.
