I have been enjoying the new Hawaii Five-O. I love the original, but this one is great also. Seems like a lot of fans of the original didn't like the idea of it being remade, but I like both versions...both are great in their different ways, IMO.
I read someone say it was kind of like NCIS goes to Hawaii.
I like both versions too, but the new one has more fast paced action than the original.

I always loved the original Hawaii 5-0.One of the best shows of its genre ever made.--However the remake, and I did catch a few episodes(which for me is rare because I generally never view any modern tv shows) is TERRIBLE.Everything about the re-make--is bad and a symbol of how low modern American tv shows have sunk.Heck, they can't even hold the camera steady for more than a few seconds on a scene. The show is such a mess,it may even drive the tourism business down in Hawaii.lol.Needless to mention I will not be viewing it again.

I like the remake, too. I like the fast paced action. I'm also a fan of the original. I'm trying to get all the dvd's of the original. I've got the first five seasons. Time for the sixth!

We've been watching the old version on Netflix streaming. We are currently on Season 5.

I read on a Hawaii 5-O website that the Marquis that Alex O'Laughlin drives on the show is the original car that Jack Lord drove on the original 5-0. And that McGarret's father on the 2011 version was named Jack in honor of Jack Lord. Anyone else see that?
