She was spoiled to the extent that a lower middle class family of limited means could spoil someone. I guess moreover she was spoiled in that she could manipulate her father in order to get her way; she was seldom if ever denied something she really wanted.

To be fair, Gloria didn't use this power irresponsibly, though, and not selfishly. She often tried to get favors for Mike or just to force Archie to do the right thing.

Of course she was. She was an only child and she lived at home with her husband, who was going to school and not working. How could anybody see that and not think "this woman is spoiled?"

ALSO, she could sometimes be quite bit**y to Michael. Not that I'm a great fan of the Meathead, but, in fairness, he did love Gloria and sometimes her unpleasantness to him was not merited.

He loved her on AITF but on ABP, we find out that he dumped her. A true Meathead. lol

^ I HATED that development, and it was all because they chose to continue the show without Gloria and Mike. They couldn't very well keep Gloria and not Mike without a serious incident like a death or divorce and IMO they really let the fans down by spoiling the "happy ending" that AITF had given them.

I agree....I always had high hopes for Mike and Gloria.
