The ratings haven't been all that hot and to be honest isn't Seth Macfarlane's best work. In your own opinion, do you think it deserved an early renewal?

View Full Version : Do You Think 'The Cleveland Show' Deserved A 3rd Season Renewal??? Brian Damage 11-29-2010, 04:25 PM The ratings haven't been all that hot and to be honest isn't Seth Macfarlane's best work. In your own opinion, do you think it deserved an early renewal? MrCleveland 11-29-2010, 06:37 PM It might. Brian Damage 11-29-2010, 08:19 PM It might. It might? Why? AKA 11-29-2010, 08:41 PM I think it's improved quite a bit since its debut. It's got less of a self-aware Family Guy spinoff vibe to it than it did during the first season. I find myself enjoying most episodes. Retro4Life 11-30-2010, 12:49 AM Yeah, I like it, too. Like Family Guy, it's plots are more unified lately and the show is developing it's own identity. Cleveland isn't quite as likeable as he was in Family Guy, which is kind of disappointing since he was one of the few decent people there, but overall it's funny and watchable. I really like Cleveland Jr! Blackout 01-27-2012, 02:50 AM no offense brain damage but you seem to hate on CS so much, why do you post about it all the time? of course is deserved a renewal, it drew a lot more of a market for Family Guy you don't pay attention to twitter but Cleveland Show trends a lot (like the one where Cleveland was a pancake for halloween LOL) Brian Damage 01-27-2012, 10:56 AM no offense brain damage but you seem to hate on CS so much, why do you post about it all the time? of course is deserved a renewal, it drew a lot more of a market for Family Guy you don't pay attention to twitter but Cleveland Show trends a lot (like the one where Cleveland was a pancake for halloween LOL) I really want to like it, it just is missing something. robyrob 01-27-2012, 11:31 AM i like the show - not the biggest fan of Rallo either - but it has some good moments. especially that bear. Blackout 01-27-2012, 12:21 PM i love the one where Rallo replaces Cleveland's clothes with smaller sizes to make him feel he is getting fatter MrCleveland 01-27-2012, 06:37 PM It might? Why? Because of "Family Guy". They went off the air in 2002, but later came back in 2005, also it's part of the McFarlane kibrary so the show is more interesting than "Allen Gregory". |
