I was watching the Isabel Sanford interview on Youtube and she said while she was on Alll in the Familt Norman Lear had two shows running at the same time. So she would go to Lear and ask could she guest star on one of the shows and Lear's answer to her question was the same

"No, because you are identified as All in the Family"

LOL

It really wouldn't have made sense for her to appear on Good Times. Maybe Maude, if Edith was along for the visit.

Nah, that really wouldn't work considering Florida was originally from Mississippi.

They could have done the same with the Ebony Magazine Cover from 1975 with Good Times on the Cast on the Front in a Jeffersons episode

She was on The Jeffersons. I think you mean Good Times.

I was thinking the same thing. I can imagine Florida and Louise meeting one another.

Florida: It's nice to meet you. Say, aren't you and your husbany on the cover of Ebony magazine?

Louise: No. I don't think so?

Florida: You're not an actress?

Louise: No. I'm a silent partner in my husband's dry cleaning business.

Florida: (looking at Maude and then camera) What's next? I guess I'll get whisked away to Chi town and go from middle to lower class with a hubby who works three jobs with aspirations to become a foreman and not fireman. (wink)

Running across each other in downtown Chicago not necessarily in the projects.
