I was watching some old tapes from a local station to compare with the dvd episodes and I noticed in this episode entitled Nell's Gifted Child there was a scene where there is a guy fixing the piano and Nell comes in with all these instruments for Joey that was cut out of the airings instead the station left the scene in but cut out the piano man completely and cut the whole part of the scene where she comes in with the instruments so after the commercial break the scene opens with the instruments already in the house and the piano has already left.

Also the stations seems to cut out all of the tag scenes in each show and replaces them with an alternative ending.


Example the station played an episode with guest star Ken Berry called The Man From Zoron and the show ends with Nell taking Joey home and questioning if the man really was from another planet and then the credits roll in but in the dvd episode after that scene closes another scene opens with Joey and Nell looking at a picture taken of the stange man and Nell swears she does not see him in the picture but Joey insists that he does see him and an inaudible argument ends the scene.

Wow it is amazing how many things get edited out of tv shows just to accomadate commercials and advertisements.

So, are you saying you find the dvd episodes intact. That's what I want to know! I don't like hearing about any editing on dvd sets for any show, or there better be a darn good excuse! :cool:
