First one is from the 1995 season. A woman and her kids go on a canoe trip and some guy attacks the her. I don't know anything else about it.

Second is from the early 90's or late 80's, about a man who got in his car one day and drove out to the desert, said he was looking for "the beast" and he wandered off into the desert and dissapeared. Possibly suffered mental issues/amnesia. Years later they found his skull and remains.

thanks

The second one is the case of David Stone. I think he for sure had some sort of mental deficiency that led to his death from exposure.

I could be wrong, but I don't think we have a name for the victim of this case. Since she survived, they probably are protecting her identity. The attack took place on a canoe trip down the Brazos River near Glen Rose, Texas (famous for dinosaur footprints being discovered there). I don't think the rapists were ever caught. Truly one of the most disturbing cases UM has ever featured. Her child(ren?) were forced to watch her be brutalized and raped by these bastards. It's the stuff of nightmares.

I remember the first one as well, don't remember any names though. It wasa mother and her child and the mother was raped on the canooing trip.

I I remember correctly, it seems like police were frustrated because they felt like people in the area knew or an idea who was responsible but were getting no cooperation because they had reason to believe many people feared for their lives. Going to show how dangerous these guys must have been.

Cases like this really make you angry. At the risk of sounding like an armchair hero, sometimes you just have to grow a backbone to help rid your community of trash like this, at least enough of one to tell the police what you know or make an anonymous tip. Chances are they arn't going to find out it was you. Kind of like Crystal Spencer's neighbors.

in the first case, they only gave her name as "Teresa", though I doubt that's her real name.
