"Blue Bloods" Promotes Jennifer Esposito to Series Regular

Jennifer Esposito has been promoted to series regular on "Blue Bloods", CBS announced Thursday.

Esposito, 37, joined the show in October as Detective Jackie Curatola, the new partner of Donnie Wahlberg's Danny Reagan, who had two partners before her.





"Jennifer is a wonderful addition to the cast," executive producer Leonard Goldberg said in a statement.

"She brings creativity and energy to the set every day and is a perfect match for Donnie Wahlberg's character. We are thrilled to have her on the 'Blue Bloods' team."

Sucks that she isn't gonna be on the show anymore because of a health issue. She's so hot. I was watching her last week in Spike Lee's Summer Of Sam movie because I hadn't seen it in a long time.

I liked her character a lot. Too bad she is gone, her and Danny were a good team. It sounds like she is happy with her bakery.

Jennifer owns a bakery? I didn't know that. Good for her. I was watching reruns of Blue Bloods last night on Ion network and I saw Jennifer. She's a beautiful woman. I wonder if Donnie Wahlberg tried asking her on a date. I'm sure he's attracted to her.

Jennifer Esposito asked for a reduced schedule on Blue Bloods due to Celiacs Disease....and didn't get one they supposedly let her go....

she is supposedly replacing Alyssa Milano on Mistresses....
