Out of the following wives, which one did you like the best and please give reasons for your answer.

1) Clara Randolph
2) Sally Darby
3) Shirley Williams

As mentioned in another thread by "Oh Nuts" we never got to see Thorny's wife Elizabeth. I don't recall ever seeing Butch Barton's wife either.

My bad, you are correct. Katherine was never shown so I wonder if Ozzie kept more to a strict budget in the early days of the show?

LOL my bad too - guess cause I never saw her, and watch the later yrs more, I forgot her name. OOPS

I like Clara the best - love the way she never takes any of Joe's crap. Although I'm sure some would find her squeaky voice and ditziness off-putting I kinda like it. Also, Clara seems to show up the most in eps.

Clara's the only one we really know.

Katherine was never seen. Sally was seen some but mostly in background and she was used as other people as well besides Sally Darby. We didn't see Sally and Darby together very much. I didn't they fit very well. Sally didn't seem as warm adn friendly as Darb. Sally was more standoffish.

Doc's wife Shirley really wasn't seen much either.

Clara was a regular recurring character that was more defined.

Clara had some personality and spunk to her to go with that ditziness. Clara and Joe together were like their own comedy team. Ozzie and Harriet couldn't dare we say.. fight and bicker with the sassiness and vigor that Joe and Clara could. They were the resident Bickersons.
