oh & when i was younger (like 10 or 11), I remember going to a sleepover at a friends house (and of course I brought 'Bewitched Forever' in case all the girls fell asleep before me, haha) and they were all talking about the boys they had a crush on or whatever and they're like 'Celeste, who do you like?' and I open up the book to a picture of Dick York and say, "I like Darrin!'.
So when I was little I though he was pretty gorgeous. I don't think he's bad-looking now either, he was a pretty good-looking man! :)

I think Dick York was handsome in a real guy kind of way. He wasn't like a male model, but he had something that made him attractive. I think it was his good soul - it shined out from the inside. He did often look he was in quite a bit of pain (especially in the eyes), but he had a friendly open face. The Brylcreem hairstyle they gave him looks old fashioned today. Dick York and his Darrin seemed like guys you;d like to hang around with.

York was lovely, one does not always have to go for the "usual" looking guys, it's quite OK to enjoy men's quirks, too.

Not sure if any of you know, but he starred in a few of those silly 50's educational films. Most are on youtube, if you want to see him particularly young and handsome. Look for:

Shy Guy
Combat Fatigue (he's very young here and spends quite some time in an army shower, albeit blabbering away, it's still amusing)

I love his big ears, his big brown eyes, and when his bangs would sometimes hang down over his forehead..spectacular. I also loved the red sweater he would wear sometimes, and the teal colored business suit ( from colorized versions also on youtube)

I also loved his build..his shoulders were broad and almost as if suspended on a coat hanger, with a lovely V shaped torso. Cute nose and quirky mouth.

When he got angry, those wonderful brown eyes would come alive! Love it.

What isnt there to enjoy, to make you smile! At the very least.

Anyway, the old films on youtube are quite amusing in their own right. So funny that no matter WHO the person is, there is always an internet page dedicated to them. Love it. ha ha.

If you believe that looks are the only thing that makes a person attractive then I'm sorry to say that you are the ridiculous one. Nothing wrong with good looks but there are those that will see a person for their inner beauty and that's a quality you sadly lack.
