I think it's been over a year since I've posted. I never thought I'd have to re-register under a different screen name (or post an "I'm back" thread), but here I am! I lost my password to my old account, and tried to get it reset, but I don't know what e-mail address I'm registered under. Hence the "2.0!"

I hope all is well with everyone.

By the way, is there any way to get this account "merged" with my old one, and the "AKA" screen name back, or has that ship sailed?

You should definitely be able to have your usernames merged... Seth did it with this account and the other one when I re-registered in 2003. I'm sure he would be able to fix your email address on your original account so that it's current. :)
