'Law & Order: Criminal Intent' star Kathryn Erbe plays a cop on her hit show and now she's taken a real-life bad guy off the streets. The actress, who has been the target of a stalker for the past three years, testified in a Brooklyn court against the alleged offender, according to the New York Daily News.

Erbe told a Brooklyn courtroom that alleged stalker Charles Nagel "infiltrated my life." The actress who was accosted by Nagel on an 'L&O' set in 2008 said from the first time she became aware of Nagel, she "got a very bad feeling from him."

Nagel, who is married with two children, reportedly sent bizarre and obsessive messages to Erbe's co-workers and family members, including her teenage daughter.


"That is a seventh-grade graduation picture of my daughter with a dialogue bubble that says, 'I'm ugly,' and a cockroach drawn on her face," Erbe explained of a photo, allegedly altered by Nagel, that appeared on Facebook.


"This is my daughter who is completely innocent and relatively defenseless and I'm not going to let this happen."

I've always liked Kathryn Erbe. She's shown that she is one brave, tough lady, just like her character on CI. God bless and send angel care over Kathryn and her children!!!!

I read about this in the newspaper today. I hope this guy gets the punishment he has coming to him. Good for Kathryn for having the courage to stand up to this guy and testify against him! He certainly picked on the wrong woman!
