Barbara Eden knows she'll always be associated with the role she played on television's "I Dream of Jeannie." But that's not a problem.
"I'm proud and happy," Eden said. "I really am — she's very easy to live with."
In her 50-plus years of television, movies and stage, Eden has performed comedy, drama and music alongside the likes of Lucille Ball, Elvis Presley, Paul Newman and dancer/actor Gene Kelly, to name just a few.

It's very refreshing to see an actress embrace her sitcom past unlike so many who try to distance themselves from their sitcom roles.(ahem Susan Dey ahem) And yes Barbara is a very classy lady!

I saw Barbara in action, greeting her "public" at the Chiller Theater Expo yesterday. She didn't mind folding her arms and "blinking", especially when asked to pose for pictures...and she didn't mind talking with her fans. She'll even let you hold her hands if you greet her warmly. She KNOWS how much we love her, no matter what she does!

When I met her at the October Hollywood show I told her I loved her appearance on George Lopez, when she played a housekeeper.

I saw that one - - have it around here on VHS tape somewhere. What did she say? Sometimes when you bring up little obscure appearances to celebrities, they are pleasantly surprised that someone noticed! (I've met some of the people who guest-starred on IDOJ, and always mention it. Most of them have stories to tell!)

Show Biz is one of the few professions where you can be drop dead great, and still starve to death. The competition is FIERCE. So...if you're fortunate enough to hit it big with a series what's to complain about. Sadly, some "stars" do - glad Barbara is not one of them. She really is a classy lady, like Monika said.
