That Fred Gwynne,Yvonne De Carlo ,and Al Lewis are all dead.And that Butch Patrick,and both Marilyns(Beverly Owen and Pat Priest)are still living.But whatever happened to Joan Marshall(the original Lily in the color pilot),and Happy Derman(the original Eddie in the color pilot)?

Joan Marshall died in 1992, I have no idea what became of Nate "Happy" Derman.

The only information I can find about Nate "Happy" Derman is that besides the Munsters pilot he has two other credits as an actor. He was in one episode of Mr. Ed and one episode of The Beverley Hillbillies.

He got on my nerves on the pilot, glad they revamped Eddie.

What ever happened to the original Marilyn, Beverly something????

I have no idea,but last night,on the Jim Bohannan radio show,one of his guests was Butch Patrick,who, when a caller asked about Beverly Owen(Marilyn#1),said that she wanted out of her contract,and they(CBS and the producers wouldn't let her out of her contract)so,Fred Gwynne and Al Lewis went to the producers ,said to let her go or else THEY would walk(quit),and there would be no show.The producers eventually gave in.

The reason Beverly Owen wanted to be let out of her contract is because she had a fiance in New York city and she wanted to go back to New York to be with him.
