Mariah Carey has just confirmed on the “Today Show” that she’s going to be a mommy. “Yes, we are pregnant,” said Carey. The singer revealed she’s “expecting in the spring,” though she wouldn’t say when.

This is the first child for Carey and husband Nick Cannon, who called the whole process “absolutely emotional.” And it has been. Carey acknowledged that shortly after she and Cannon wed, she suffered a miscarriage. “It was really sad,” said Carey, while Cannon shared how his wife cried herself to sleep for some time. Now the couple is celebrating.

Congratulations to them both! :)

Nick Cannon is a lucky guy to get her pregnant. I've wanted to have sex with her for a long time hahahahahahahahahaha. She's always been hot to me. I just don't like her music LOL.

It's an early Christmas present for Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon: The couple is expecting twins. Cannon announced the big news on his radio show, 92.3 Now, Thursday morning. "I didn't even tell my wife I was going to do this," he said. "I'm probably going to get yelled at for not getting permission... We are having twins!" Cannon, 30, also shared that the first people to hear the news were the Obamas. "They actually even questioned my wife [at the First Family for a White House Christmas special]," he said. "She hadn't told anybody anything! Because of the excitement and emotion, she shared [the news] with the President and the First Lady." Carey, 40, wed Cannon in 2008. She became pregnant shortly after, but suffered a miscarriage.
