I heard Mr. Sunshine was AWFUL, and thats why it was held for midseason. I'm guessing it will get a chance on Tuesday nights. :)

Anyways, Better with You is starting to grow on me. Some of the acting is still a bit bad, but its getting better. I'm glad it tied series highs in the demo this week! :)

im really enjoying the show sure its not groundbreaking and many of the stories have been done before but the cast is great and works well together :)

Did you read any reviews? If ABC was so high on it, they would have premiered it in the fall. They are reworking it because the way the screenings were going, it wasn't good.

Yes I'm a fan of Better with you and I think it's funny I'm not in love with it but I think it's a good show.:)

Not bad but feels quite out of place in the ABC sitcom block. Some of the jokes are forced, like the younger guy's lines. The mother is easily the best of the show.

I guess the full season order does indicate that ABC is not that enthusiastic about the midseason sitcoms.

I LIKE it (but "love" is a bit strong). Good cast, though. The writing could
stand a little tweaking, but it's not bad.

The pilot is fun because the prospect of the younger sis hitting big romantic milestones ahead of her older sis, who’s purposely chosen to eschew them, is positioned as a conflict, with the latter feeling that her way of life is threatened by the former. This slightly high-concept narrative framework burns away fast though, and Better With You (https://web.archive.org/web/20140407134705/http://forums.televisionwithoutpity.com/topic/3198781-better-with-you/?view=getnewpost) thereafter devolves into a standard two-couple show with a pair of funny parents on the side. But unlike the best of this type of sitcom, I don’t think its episodic stories actually do a good job of emphasizing the differences between the main relationships (even positionally), and so the ideas themselves feel like they don’t really indulge the intended situation, yielding instead stuff that we could see on any generic sitcom with an engaged pregnant couple.

Given how quickly the series and its cast members disappeared, I think it's safe to say that the fan clubs of Joanna Garcia and Jennifer Finnigan no longer have a need for full-time employees.
