I know some are dead,but of those who are still alive and worked on many classic TV series that are syndicated ,think of their show that they worked hard on ,mangled by some syndicators,who severly edit their series and cut out parts,and air lots and lots and LOTS of commmercials?

I'd be beyond angry and I'm sure thats how most of the people who worked on the wonderful classic tv shows feel about what tv stations are doing to these shows.I know here a number of years ago before tv stations went commercial crazy like they are now, there was a tv station that was airing "All In The Family" and heavily editing it.Norman Lear actually wanted his name removed from the credits when the show was run on that particular station.

And,I read once years ago that the late Joe Flynn(Captain Binghamton of "McHale's Navy"fame)was outraged when he learned that "McHale's Navy"reruns were being aired by a local station.
