(The Texas Rangers win the ALCS 4 games to 2 by beating the NY Yankees 6-1.)

(Ralph just watched the game with Ed. He is so depressed. So is Ed.)

Ed: "What a dark, dark day Ralph." (starting to cry): "Now, those Yankees are no longer champions."

Ralph: "Don't remind me Norton. Now, I will have to put up with people like Garrity who is going to rub it in my face that the Yankees lost. I was the one that predicted that the Yankees would win and that we would sing Texas: 'Happy Trails To You.'"

Ed: "Look at this way Ralph. The Rangers haven't never been in the World Series. It's almost like it's their turn."

Ralph: "Their turn? The Rangers don't deserve to win the World Series. As a matter of fact, I will be surprised if Joe Giradi still has a job after this season."

Ed: "If they don't, people would call him Joe GAYridi."

Ralph: "Well, there is always next season. This season wasn't the Yankees best season. But, we have seen worst seasons."

Ed: "How about the 2008 season when they didn't even make the postseason?"

Ralph: "Well, maybe Texas was the better team. They played fair and square. They have a good shot at winning the World Series."

Ed: "Yes, they do. I am happy for the Rangers."

Ralph: "Yes, when we get home, when that loudmouth Garrity gets in my face, I will be ready to yell out: 'Yankees 2011 World Champs."

(They go home and Ralph has a black eye.)

Ed: "Ralph, why did you automatically have to get in Garrity's face for? He didn't do anything."

Ralph (yells): "I HAVE A BIIIIIG MOUTH!"

(Jackie Gleason walks on stage. Audience applauds.)

Jackie: "Thank you. The Miami Beach audiences are the GREATEST! GOOD NIGHT!"

(Audience cheers.)
