View Full Version : Laugh-In
Laugh-Ingal67 12-22-2001, 05:01 PM Hey ya'll!
I just adore using these message boards, but how come there is'nt one for Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In???? That has to be one of the funniest shows ever created! So how about starting one? Such a great show must have many fans that would love to chat about it. So how about?
Hey! Be sure to check out my niece's Laugh-In website!

Brian 12-22-2001, 07:22 PM I don't think Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In would qualify as a sitcom. Leans more toward variety. TJ, what do you think?
Laugh-Ingal67 12-22-2001, 08:18 PM Yes, I do realize that it is a variety show, but I still believe that people would like to see a message board for it. I know I would. Do you mean that this place doesn't allow variety show message boards? Sitcoms and variety shows I have to admitt, are a tad different, but they both are shows on TV, right? By the way, is there anyway that a gal could start her own message board? tootles!
I think if you want to discuss Laugh-In on the main General Sitcoms Questions and Discussion board or on the Chit Chat board that would be fine. The majority of people that post here are under 20, so I don't know how many have seen it.
Brian 01-18-2002, 12:23 AM I watch it on Trio. It is a funny show.
Pitooey 01-20-2002, 12:46 AM I also watch it on Trio!
dawsongirl 01-20-2002, 09:48 PM If I had TRIO I'd watch it. It's absolutley hilarious, but many of the people here are kinda young.
Laugh-Ingal67 03-21-2002, 05:03 PM Actually, I'm in Highschool, and I watch it. It's like my fav show! My parents introduced me to "old" shows when I was little, and I guess I'm hooked!
Cheryl Harrell 03-22-2002, 05:36 PM LAUGH IN does that bring back some memories. I remember watching that in the 60's (Yeah I'm in my 40's LOL) . The day after it was on tv kids would come to school & we'd all be discussing last nites episode of the show. Kids would be going "SOCK IT TO ME, SOCK IT TO ME" & "YOU BET YOUR SWEET BIPPY" LOL! Wish I had TRIO so I could watch it. My folks have TRIO & I've caught it a few times over at their house & my hubby & I had a good laugh. Glad to see the younger people enjoying the old tv show from our youth.
chicagokmc 04-03-2002, 08:45 PM i'm glad trio carries it. i just wish they would show episodes from the later seasons. they always start over after the third episode from the 70-71 season.

Well that sucks. But on the other hand I'm a little glad because those would be the ones I'd want to see most and if they aren't on, then I don't have to worry about not having TRIO.
Central Perk 05-17-2002, 06:11 PM Maybe there could be a Variety Show Disscussion Board..people could post about all there favorite variety shows and if some are really popular maybe they could get there own board.
Pitooey 05-17-2002, 10:48 PM What a great picture of The Brady kids.............
I still can't believe that I see Goldie Hawn around. My cousin absolutely hated her on Laugh In. I liked her. I had no problem with her playing the dummy. She was cute back then. Back in the 60's I remember when she wore the bikini bathing suits and she and the
others danced the boogaloo with the writing on her body. It was like WOAH.......What I like to see are the guest hosts. One day I saw Sammy Davis, The next day I saw Peter Lawford. I felt sad when I saw Peter. That man went through so much in his life. He still wanted to look young. He still wore that toupee.
Hi Cheryl................

dawsongirl 05-30-2002, 06:10 PM Is this where that Walnetto thing came from?? A few nights ago on Match Game, Richard Dawson kept asking Gene Rayburn if he wanted a Walnetto and I was like what?
