I'd say no, Esmerelda never got mad to my knowledge. She usually disappeared when her spells wouldn't work right.

The Only Time I remember Samantha getting mad as Esmerelda was when she did the unthinkable- STRAIGHTENING THE LEANING TOWER OF PISA!
