Just curious for opinions on this...

We all know Gordon Jump passed away a few years ago and Jan smithers basically fell off the face of the earth. With all that said, would you still want a 'WKRP in Cincinnati' reunion special of some kind?

I wouldnt mind seeing one, and who knows maybe Jan Smithers would be involved.

If you are talking about an actual reunion show with them in character, I don't know.

A reunion "special" would be great.

I would hope Jan Smithers would show up. There would be a good chance.
Out of respect for Gordon Jump, I would hope they would all show up.

The stories they could tell I imagine would be quite entertaining.

I hope they'd do a retrospective!! As for a reunion in character, I don't think it would work. I think I read someplace that Loni Anderson is still in touch with Jan Smithers, so maybe something would be able to work out with her.

I agree that a retrospective is probably the best way to go. 28 years have passed since the show ended and crafting a reason for them all to get together again (sans Jump) would be difficult. And I don't think they could really do the type of hip humor they used to do in their 60's, etc.
