That writers Ed James and Seaman Jacobs NEVER wrote for the color second season?

...were the creators of the series, and wrote several episodes during the first season. However, like John L. Greene, who created "MY FAVORITE MARTIAN" and wrote several of its first season episodes, decided to "move on" after the first season [and with his partner, Paul David, wrote occasional episodes of "BEWITCHED" during their initial seasons]....James and Jacobs did as well (the latter eventually teaming up with Fred Fox). Besides, the best writer the series had was Arthur Julian; he wrote "The Singing Mountie", "The Return of Bald Eagle" {"Kill! KILL!!! KILLLLLL!!!"}, "The New I.G.", "Don't Ever Speak To Me Again", "Survival of the Fittest" [Julian even wrote himself into the story, appearing briefly as an undertaker], among other great scripts....

It's too bad Ed James and Seaman Jacobs decided to move on,because they wrote some really good first season shows. But,I guess, that's show biz.
