Just in time for Halloween! Even though these two photos were taken in April, 2009.
I decided to take 3 photos of my mom in her bedroom. Since she has dementia, I did not use a flash so she wouldn't be startled.
The last two photos came out normal but there was a strange blue light visible in the first photo. I have no idea what this is. Certainly can't be light from the TV and her bedroom light is to the left and does not have a blue light bulb.
Here are one of the normal photos and the unexplained one.

It must be a camera glitch. I get odd lights in my photos sometimes.

Hey Fleet! Do you watch Ghost Hunters on Sy-Fy? That light looks pretty spooky. Some would say that it could be an Orb but Jason and Grant (Ghosthunters) poo-poo the orb theory. They say that orbs are merely dust particles. But really that light doesn't look like an orb to me. Just a weird light. It could be your camera but who knows?.......................................

It's more fun to think it is something unexplained. Especially when it's only 10 days until Halloween.
You are right, though. Sometimes light enters the camera, but that was more common with 35 mm cameras (mine is a digital).

Yes, I have seen that show a few times. It is interesting. As you said, it could be dust particles (it would have to be BIG dust particles!), or it could be something else. Maybe I'll submit it to ghoststudy.com.

Since Halloween is just around the corner; and in a Paranormal perspective. The blue light, looks like a visiting spirit, maybe your Dad? Anyway, bless your Mom:)

It would be very interesting to see what they would have to say!

That's what I was thinking. A visiting spirit. Could be!
Anyway, bless your Mom:)
Thank you!
