:( :( You spend hundreds of dollars on a dish and get nothing.

Anyone know if they are showing the last season of The New DVD show, the ones with Richard Dawson? Please tell me no so I won't start crying. :(

Well our cable company has this channel where nothing but news about the company rolls across the screen.I was watching and it said TVLand was coming for basic cable. They had Oxygen and Home Shopping Network in that same 'post'.They ran another for Nick GAS,Goodlife TV,VH1 Classics and National Geographic Channel.
At that time I knew GLTV showed Ozzie and Harriet and Danny Thomas but I didn't know New Dick Van Dyke Show would be there. And I just discovered Down to Earth.

P.S.:I think they are showing the 1972 episodes of NDVD so don't worry!!!!!But start worrying in the next two or three months!!!

Here they offer Goodlife with Digital Cable....but my parents won't get it :( If we did, we'd also get TRIO and a bunch of others...Maybe one day....I wanna see more 'Danny Thomas', to bad not all the episodes of that and 'Ozzie & Harriet' are available...Only around 195 episodes of 'Danny Thomas' are in syndication out of around 336, and only around 100 episodes out of 460-something of 'Ozzie & Harriet'

(BTW, doesn't Goodlife show "The Tony Orlando & Dawn Hour"? That sounds really cool!)

I'm not sure if and when they air TO&DH.
I'll have to check their web site later today.Or you can look and tell us?
I think it is at www.goodtv.com

I never actually saw A _____ Comedy Hour or _____ Variety hour!!!!!
So that would be a treat!!!!!!!!
I know they air Combat! and FBI and Highway to Heavan.
I also watch Kate & Allie on Oxygen!!!

This network has potential to be what NAN used to be. I like the fact that TRIO airs Laugh Im.

Living here in Central New Jersey, on the edge of the Jersey Pine Barrens (Where, legend has it, the "Jersey Devil" roams), I subscribe to Cablevision of Monmouth & Ocean Counties. I don't get TV Land or the Hallmark Channel, and have never heard of "Goodlife" or "Trio" until today. If past history is any indication, they won't be adding those channels anytime soon.

In fact, until about 3 years ago, I didn't receive A&E, The Learning Channel, The History Channel, The Discovery Channel, and about a half dozen other cable networks that everyone else in America received as part of "basic cable"! I didn't even get C-Span, which I thought everybody got! Of course, they still charged us the same amount as other customers in nearby areas who did received these channels. I don't know of any other industry where you can charge the same fee to all of your subscribers, while providing full service to some customers, and half the service to others!

(BTW - I live in a condo. Until recently, the Condo Association would not permit the residents to install a satellite dish).
