Anyone have any idea why the show was titled "The Facts of Life"? A response would be greatly appreciated.

I would imagine because they had to deal
with certain facts about life, drugs, sex, suicide and etc....

YEP! It deals with issues and through Mrs. Garrett's advice and the actions of girls you are taught what to do in those situations. It's the FACTS OF LIFE!

Corny reasoning, I know...

Actually, as much as I love the show, I can't say that it always lived up to it's name. Some of the seasons 7-9 eps don't seem very real. But I don't blame the writers for wanting to do something different with the show later on, even though I prefer the Eastland and Edna's Edibles years.
