YouTube Star Kenny Strasser Cast in "The Office"

The whole yo-yo thing didn't seem to work out for Kenny "K-Strass" Strasser, the self-proclaimed, delusional yo-yo master who embarrassed himself with terrible tricks and bizarre banter on Midwestern news programs only to became a star on YouTube earlier this year.
But maybe "K-Strass" will have better luck with his next vocation -- Scranton, Penn.-based handyman for one Mr. Dwight Schrute.
Strasser, or really his creator, actor Mark Proksch, is taking on the role of Nate, a handyman who works at the Schrute-owned office building that houses Dunder Mifflin Paper Company, on NBC's "The Office".
Proksch, should fit right in with the "Office" misfits. Taking a page from Sacha Baron Cohen and Andy Kaufman, Proksch punked news stations in states like Missouri and Wisconsin, pretending to be a yo-yo master to gain appearances on their shows.
Instead of dazzling anchors with his tricks, he made them squirm with improvisational, hysterically awkward banter and yo-yo maneuvers gone spectacularly wrong.
One of his videos alone has received north of a million hits on YouTube.
A publicist for NBC Universal told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that Proksch's first appearance will be this Thursday and that he will return for an undisclosed number of episodes.
Actor Rainn Wilson, who plays Schrute on "The Office", tweeted out a welcome to Proksch and posted a picture of him on his Posterous blog, writing, "He's single, ladies."
With his way with words and a yo-yo, how can you resist?
