Kaley Cuoco has revealed that her recent injury will be hidden on The Big Bang Theory.

Cuoco, who plays Penny, recently broke her leg in a horse-riding accident and was forced to miss two episodes.

The actress has now returned to work but told Ellen DeGeneres that the injury will be ignored on the show.

"They're not writing it in," she said. "[And] I'm not going to question it. I was kind of shocked. I thought they were going to, but they're just going to be hiding me, kind of like when you're pregnant."

Cuoco also revealed that the writers have figured out a way to hide her injury, saying: "They're going to have [Penny] as a bartender now."

The Big Bang Theory continues on Thursdays at 8/7c on CBS.

Well that is what they did with Married With Children and Katie Sagal during season five she was really pregnant but after her miscarriage that she had in real-life they ignored it and played it like the whole thing was just a dream that Al was having.

There have been many sitcoms where one of the stars have broken or sprained a wrist or something and it's never mentioned.

You're right there has been a lot of different ones. However, I was just using this as example to get my point across. That is all.
