Which air 1950's,and 1960's oldies songs,they refer sometimes to "The Oldies Police".Like ,they say that "The Oldies Police"won't like such-and-such an oldie.Who ARE "The Oldies Police"?And has anyone else ever heard the term?

I imagine Oldies Police are hard core 50s/60s fans but I dont know what songs they might not like. We would have the classic station on at work and I would kind of cringe whenever they would play "My Dad" by Paul Peterson from the Donna Reed Show. Not that it was a bad song but I didnt want everyone judging the radio station on that song.
One thing about the classic station is that songs are only 2-3 minutes long

They play 50s,60s and they have ads from that time so it sounds like your listening then!
