No new opening credits this season but we do get a better version of the theme tune IMO.

The girls room has had a lick of paint. Last season it was wallpaper with pink and blue flowers(?) and this season it's a light pink.

Out of all the kids Greg has grown a lot taller which is not doing him any favours. Watch as all the kids run down the stairs at the start of the episode and Greg stumbles over his feet for most of his descent.

We get a rare shot of the living room curtains being opened and open!

During Cindys close up in the bedroom the same wall is used that the older girls beds are against. You can see the corners of the same poster and picture frame. You should really see the window.

When Alice decides she needs to go to the bathroom you can see the boom reflected in the car windows.

When the keys land on the floor during the jail scene look at the top of the screen and you can see the hand of whoever just released them into the shot.

Has it ever been determined why there was no new opening squares for the third season, but we got a new version of the theme? The cover of Alice's Brady Bunch Cookbook provides a hint at what the third season opening would have looked like had they done one.

Perhaps the cast were unavailable because something suddenly came up.

The usual explanation is that they didn't think the kids had changed enough to warrant a redo of the squares, but it's obvious that the real reason was to save money!

Save money.....ha! They went through the expense of recording a new song, but not to update the visuals. Which they did in reverse for the 5th season--new visuals, but reused the third season theme song.
