Remember these forgotten instrumentals which some,(not all)DJ's on some(but not all)oldies radio stations have ignored?1)1966's "The Phoenix Love Theme (Senza Fine)#32-by the Brass Ring 2)the follow-up to the above,1967's " The Dis-Advantages of You"(same melody as a Benson &Hedges 100's cigarette jingle-I do NOT smoke,by the way -#37)by the Brass Ring ,3)1968's "Soul Coaxing"(aka Ame Caline)#37 by Raymond Lefevre 3)1959's "Quiet Village"by Martin Denny (#4)and 4-1966's "Summer Samba"(aka "So Nice")by the late organist Walter Wanderley(#26)?One question:Why do DJ's(some DJ's at least,)play instrumentals only when they have breaks and then talk over them?

And how about this one-1961's "One Mint Julep"(#8),by the late, great Ray Charles.(Yes,THE Ray Charles-the ONLY time he's heard is when he sings "And Just a little bit of soul")

And how about this one?:Herb Alpert and The Tijuana Brass' "The Mexican Shuffle?"(This was used in a 1960's Clark Teaberry Gum commercial and was called in that commercial "The Teaberry Shuffle")I think it was either 1966 or 1967.
