Hi all,
First of all with my post, I am not saying that only gay people love golden girls but we must admit that there is a big percentage of gays people who enjoy the show, isn't it ?
The question I would like you to answer is why ?
Beyond the fact that there's quiet few episodes where we can see lesbians or gay stories, I think that the principal reason is that gay people can find a little of themself in each character of the show (bitchy with Blanche, Naive with Rose, Serious with Dorothy, always criticize like Sophia, etc etc)
Also, I have to say that some of topics were pretty courageous for the 80's or 90's.
They were not afraid to say what they think and I like this. Look at the show, I don't find that it sounds old fashion in the dialogue. (not in the way they dress I have to admit).
And you what do you think ?
(Sorry for the mistakes, english is not my mother tongue)
