Do you feel at least in the early seasons of Good Times, Willona & her gossiping ways were a bad influence on Florida and the Evans kids?

Not at all - she was lively and was the BEST character on the show- to me anyways.. What really endeared me to her was her kindness to Penny - Willona was one of the KINDEST characters on TV - one of the few who could give Edith Bunker a run for her money.

(Good Times was not one of my favorite shows, but I LOVED Willona - any ep w/o her was OK but nothing great - and ANY ep where JJ was a prominent presence truly made me want to upchuck.)

I liked her because she brought life to the family who went through depressing times. She was like a breath of fresh air.
