yes they all made guest apperences on empty nest while the golden girls was on nbc also estille continued to play sopiha after the golden palace ended she became a full time cast member on empty nest for its last 2 seasons but bea betty and rue never appered with her during that time

Thanks for the info,JR1 Someone(WE,The Hallmark Channel,WGN,local TV stations(forget about TVLand)should air "Empty Nest",or else it will become another forgotten TV comedy.
^ You're welcome. Unfortunately, I think that already may be the case, as far as it being forgotten (to the general public). The studio doesn't seem to be rushing to release it on DVD, which doesn't help people keep it fresh in their minds.

I would love for this show to make it to DVD. I did enjoy it especially the crossover eps.

Empty Nest is a spin off of the Golden Girls, there were a number of episodes where the girls called Harry when they were caring for a child, or they needed a cop around ( Barbara if I remember was the daughter that was a cop). Before they did the spin with Harry they used the Empty Nest house with a different couple but Charlie was still in there, so I suppose they were fleshing out the spin off.
Oliver was there, rather than Charlie- same actor, of course. ;)
