Everyone remembers Laurie Cabot, the Salem witch/psychic.

I'm trying to find info about the missing persons case she was asked to help with, Gail (Gayle?) Nolan or Nolton. I never could understand how to say or spell her name because it was a little hard to understand RS when he pronounced it. She's the one that Cabot theorized was taken by an acquaintance and murdered. Is this woman still missing or was her body ever recovered?

Boo. Nobody knows? Does anyone at least know how to spell her name?

I spent quite a bit of time yesterday trying to find info on this case.

I didn't make any comments (I don't recall the segment), because I wasn't sure if the info I found (a website named www.lauriecabot.com among other things) was about the right person.

I did google search for Gail Nolan, Gayle Noland, Gayle Nolan, Gayle Nolin, Gail Nolin, and every other spelling I could think of. I also tried to cross reference with Laurie Cabot with Gail/Gayle/Gale, but I didn't find anything, even on the unsolved.com site.

I just read a bit more on her site. Is this the woman who's in the UM segment?

Either way, I don't like her. It seems like she's trying to create conflict and is obsessed with profiting financially from her religion. She says that Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, and Hindus advocate the murder of Wiccans and gays and that the US congress is primarily interested in passing laws to benefit Christians and target Wiccans.

I don't know any Buddhists or Hindus, but I know a lot of Christians (myself included) and am related to a few Muslims. I've never known any Christians to advocate murder and haven't spoken of the subject with Muslims. All I know about their politics is what's shown on tv, the "kill the infidel" stuff. The Muslims I know don't really like Christians, but they sure aren't out to murder us or Wiccans.

Oh she is a big ball of crazy fraud, I don't disagree with you. I was just interested in finding out if the woman they had consulted with her about had ever been located. Thank you for looking!

You're welcome. :)
I like looking up this stuff whenever I have the chance.
I just wish I could have found something that was useful.

I just watched the story about Gail's disappearance and made a page on the unsolved mysteries wiki site. It's strange that she isn't on any of those missing person sites, and it is probably because she has since been found dead:(

I'm very interested in what happened. Was it anything like the witch said it would be like? How long after she died was she found? Did they ever find out who did it to her?

I cant find a thing online.
