Kelsey Grammer had to be forced to don underwear on the set of his hit sitcom Frasier after his co-stars reportedly complained to his wife Camille about his lack of briefs.

The TV actor, who split from Camille Donatacci earlier this year, is said to have had a penchant for going commando during his years on the popular 1990s series, much to his castmates' disdain.

And they became so disgusted by his failure to wear undergarments, they begged Camille to convince him to change his ways, according to FoxNews.com.

The website claims Camille makes the revelation during next month's season premiere of U.S. reality show The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, after joining the program over the summer as her marriage fell apart.

She reportedly says, "The cast of Frasier came to me and asked me to get him to wear underwear. They were sick of him not wearing any."

Grammer has since moved on to date Kayte Walsh and the couple announced in August it was expecting its first baby together. The child will be the actor's fifth.

This surprises me. Kelsey seems so refined or maybe I'm confusing him with his character Frasier. It's nasty. All I can think of is Kramer telling Seinfeld that, "I'M OUT THERE JERRY, AND I'M LOVIN' IT!!". :lol:
