View Full Version : I Guess Crappy Pizza For Dinner Isn't Enough, Dominos Introduces A Breakfast Pizza

So it may not have hit every location--yet--but we're kinda dying over here to test out Domino's latest creation: the Breakfast Pizza.
The pizza features eggs and cheese and goes for $7.99. You can also pick up to three toppings, and the pizza chain recommends ham, bacon, sausage, onions, jalapeņos, onion, green pepper and mushrooms.
Really, we're just a fan of breakfast pizzas (and, you know, breakfast) in general. From Domino's though? Maybe.
But, for now, this is their first venture into the breakfast market and Domino's is only offering the creation at their only 24-hour U.S. location in Daytona, Ohio.
Domino's says they will be observing the restaurant's sales to determine whether or not they can bring the Breakfast Pizza to other locations.
Rezny@gmail.com 09-29-2010, 10:26 PM It sounds like a VERY HIGH cholesterol dish, but it doesn't sound too bad.Mine would be without the eggs,if it could be done that way,but I doubt it,(I do NOT like eggs),but with bacon, onions and mushrooms it wouldn't be too bad.But with green peppers and jalapenos?NO WAY!

Ordering a breakfast pizza with no eggs is no different than ordering a pizza with no anchovies. There's no legitimate excuse for them not to fix it the way you want it.

 Another winner Charles!!
OH Nuts! 09-30-2010, 03:09 PM I love pizza but not crappy pizza so its ez to pass Domino's by - and this latest gimmick sounds pretty lame to me - trying to reinvent the wheel and not doing a great job of it either. IMO let them stick to trying to improve their current mediocre dinner and lunch offerings first before attempting to tackle a new area. (And yes, where is Sol on this one? ;)

I've never understood why every fast food joint and many specialty restaurants have felt the need to develop a breakfast menu.

OH Nuts! 09-30-2010, 03:53 PM Me either! And most of their forays are pretty ghastly (or at best just lame)
Zebra 3 10-14-2010, 01:27 AM The closest I ever came to a Domino's pizza is playing the NES Yo! Noid game, and even that sucked.

I wonder if this guy would ever play Yo! Noid?

He's the Angry Video Game Nerd, who plays very bad games. (He now only makes a vid a month, because of editing and such).
Miss Lisa 10-24-2010, 10:34 PM I don't think that Dominos pizza is all that bad, I have had it a couple of times. But for breakfast? Idk...... Doesn't look all that great to me.
